Terms of Service

By creating an account, clicking "Sign in with Google", accessing, or using Intervu in any way, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.

These Terms apply to all users of Intervu, including visitors, registered users, and subscribers. We may update these Terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or via a prominent notice on the platform. Continued use of Intervu after the effective date of changes constitutes your acceptance.

Intervu is an AI-powered interview preparation and ATS (Applicant Tracking System) resume analysis platform. Our services include:

• AI-generated personalised interview questions based on your resume and target role
• Instant AI feedback and scoring (1–10) on your interview responses
• ATS compatibility analysis and resume scoring
• Interview history tracking and session management
• Job search and matching features
• Desktop application access (where available)

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time. We will endeavour to provide reasonable notice for major changes.

To use Intervu, you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age, or have parental/guardian consent if between 13–18 years.
• Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.
• Not be prohibited from receiving services under the laws of India or any other applicable jurisdiction.

You must create an account to access most features of Intervu. By creating an account:

• You authorise us to retrieve your name, email address, and profile picture from Google via OAuth on your behalf.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and any activity that occurs under your account.
• You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information.
• You agree to promptly notify us of any unauthorised use of your account at kishnaxai@gmail.com.
• You may only maintain one active account. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent usage limits is prohibited.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or are found to be inactive for extended periods.

Intervu offers both a free tier and paid subscription plans. The following terms apply to paid plans:

• Billing: Subscriptions are billed on a monthly or annual basis as selected at the time of purchase.
• Automatic Renewal: Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before the renewal date.
• Payment Processing: Payments are processed by our third-party payment gateway. We do not store your card details.
• Refund Policy: We offer a 7-day refund period for first-time subscribers who are dissatisfied with the service. After 7 days, all fees are non-refundable. Refund requests must be sent to kishnaxai@gmail.com.
• Price Changes: We may change subscription prices with at least 30 days' notice. Your continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
• Taxes: All prices are exclusive of applicable taxes (e.g., GST for Indian users). Applicable taxes will be added at checkout.
• Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time via your account settings. You will continue to have access to paid features until the end of your current billing period.

You agree to use Intervu only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree NOT to:

• Use the service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the platform, other user accounts, or our servers.
• Use automated scripts, bots, crawlers, or scrapers to access or collect data from Intervu without our express written permission.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code of any part of the service.
• Upload content that is defamatory, offensive, obscene, or that infringes on any third party's intellectual property rights.
• Upload malicious code, viruses, or any software that could harm the platform or other users.
• Circumvent usage limits (e.g., creating multiple accounts, sharing accounts between users).
• Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.
• Use the service to process data belonging to third parties without their consent.
• Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the service without a written agreement from us.

All content, features, and functionality of Intervu — including but not limited to the software code, design, user interface, logos, trademarks, brand name, AI prompts and systems, and all written and visual content — are the exclusive property of Kishna Kushwaha and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use Intervu solely for your personal, non-commercial interview preparation purposes. This licence does not include the right to:

• Copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the platform.
• Modify, create derivative works from, or reverse engineer any part of the service.
• Use our branding, logos, or trademarks without prior written permission.

You retain full ownership of all content you upload to Intervu, including your resume, cover letters, and interview responses ("User Content").

By uploading User Content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide licence to use, process, and store your content solely for the purpose of providing the service to you. This licence terminates when you delete the content or close your account.

• You are solely responsible for the accuracy and legality of the content you upload.
• Please do not upload documents containing the personal data of other individuals without their consent.
• We do not claim any ownership rights over your resume or any other content you upload.
• We do not use your content to train our AI models. Your content is sent to the Groq API for processing as described in our Privacy Policy.

Intervu uses AI to generate interview questions, scores, and feedback. Please understand the following important limitations:

• Not Professional Advice: AI-generated content is for educational and practice purposes only. It does not constitute professional career advice, HR advice, legal advice, or any guarantee of interview performance.
• AI Limitations: AI systems can make mistakes. Questions, scores, and feedback may not always be accurate, complete, or applicable to every situation. Use your judgment.
• No Guarantees: We do not guarantee that using Intervu will result in improved interview performance, a job offer, or any specific career outcome.
• ATS Scores are Estimates: Our ATS compatibility scores are algorithmic estimates. Real ATS systems vary significantly by employer. Our scores are indicative only.

Disclaimer of Warranties: Intervu is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Kishna Kushwaha shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising from:

• Your use of or inability to use the service.
• Any unauthorised access to your account or data.
• Any errors or inaccuracies in AI-generated content.
• Any third-party services or their failures.
• Any viruses, malware, or harmful code transmitted through the service.

In jurisdictions where this limitation does not apply, our liability is limited to the total amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the event giving rise to the liability, or INR 500, whichever is greater.

Your Right to Terminate: You may close your account at any time through your account settings. Upon deletion, we will process your data removal request as described in our Privacy Policy.

Our Right to Terminate: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the service, with or without notice, if:

• You violate any provision of these Terms.
• We are required to do so by law or legal authority.
• Your account is engaged in fraudulent or abusive activity.
• We determine that continued service poses a risk to other users or the platform.

Upon termination for violation of Terms, no refunds will be issued. All provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including Intellectual Property, Disclaimers, and Governing Law) shall survive termination.

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Specifically, these Terms are subject to applicable Indian laws including:

• The Information Technology Act, 2000 and its amendments
• The Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023
• The Indian Contract Act, 1872
• The Consumer Protection Act, 2019

Dispute Resolution: In the event of any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or in connection with these Terms or your use of Intervu:

1. Step 1 – Informal Resolution: You agree to first contact us at kishnaxai@gmail.com to attempt to resolve the dispute informally within 30 days.
2. Step 2 – Arbitration: If informal resolution fails, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 of India.
3. Jurisdiction: The courts of India shall have exclusive jurisdiction for any matters not subject to arbitration.
